Backstory
An engineer by training with an MBA in Finance, Chandrashekar brings over two decades of leadership across infrastructure, energy, and advisory services.
He currently serves as Executive Director at Sixth Energy Technologies, where he focuses on leveraging IoT and data analytics to improve asset performance, operational efficiency, and sustainability outcomes for energy-intensive industries. His work enables clients to convert real-time data into actionable insights that drive uptime, efficiency, and measurable ESG impact.
Prior to this, Chandrashekar led the Management Consulting practice at Fichtner Consulting in India, building and scaling advisory services across sustainability, decarbonisation, energy modelling, economic regulation, and PPP frameworks. His engagements spanned India, South and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Caribbean—working closely with governments, utilities, multilateral agencies, and private-sector developers.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Meghraj Capital, PwC, and CRISIL, advising on electricity sector reforms, infrastructure financing, regulatory frameworks, and large-scale power and transmission projects across multiple geographies.
Across roles, Chandrashekar has consistently operated at the intersection of strategy, finance, policy, and execution, helping organisations translate long-horizon vision into practical, bankable, and implementable outcomes.
